I think I might do a impromptu Customer Survey with just a few questions so I can get to know them better and for completing it offer them a special discount or free little gift type of thing.

Spend some time today just following up with your clients/ customers during your conversation find out if they are a coffee or tea drinker and what type of coffee or tea they prefer ( i.e. Starbucks or Caribou) or ice cream Baskin Robins or Cold Stone.
Send out a card with a gift certificate in it for their favorite coffee place or if they have never tried Cold Stone send them a Cold Stone certificate (find out online if they have one in their area) and put a hand written note inside letting them know what your favorite flavor or creation is and dont forget to say "thank you".
Not only did you find something out about them but then they also found out something about you.

A $5 gift certificate is enough to cover a treat of this nature eash to send and the personal note is priceless.
