Hi.. I am very excited to find this group, hope to be able to do some networking and make some new friends. I do recognize some people from other groups where I belong.
I was told by a good friend to find something that I loved and the money would come. I definitely have fun with my business. I love creating new items by tie dyeing.
My husband and I live in southern Oregon. We are the proud parents of 4 adult children (36, 29, 26 and 21.) We also have 5 grandchildren who are the light of grandma's life.

Dixie,
Welcome. It's very nice to meet you and have you join us here. I see you have your own ebay store??. My mom and my aunt and uncle do ebay. I used to do it myself as well. My sister-in-law also earns a pretty good income doing ebay.
I like tie dyeing too. Every item is unique that way. I have only done it a time or two as a kid. Now I just admire other people's work of art. :wink: |

How fun...another Oregon gal!! Wonderful!
I look forward to getting to know you...and your friend gave you some great advice...My children and I enjoy tie dying too...what fun!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the welcome. At this point my ebay store is where I sell most of my tie dye but my dream is to eventually have my own web site to sell my creations. I have fun trying to dye all kinds of different items. I have the normal clothes that I have tie dyed but also have items such as table cloths, sheets, fabric, curtains, etc that I have tie dyed. My kids joke that nothing that has natural fiber is safe from me as I will attempt to tie dye it!

What a fun name.
I like tye-dye it reminds me when i young and just enjoying the summer and waiting for the ice cream truck. yes i got all that out of it. What fun. think of all the joy you bring to people just with one item.

I looked at your ebay store and I love your tie-dye! In fact, I have my eye on that dress . . . Have you ever done tie-dyed dog clothes? I know that a lot of people buy clothes for their dogs and I suspect you might come up with something rather unique!
If you decide to open a store online, I'd suggest you look at shoppal.com. That's where I have my magazine store and the price is reasonable and the support absolutely excellent.
