Creamy Chicken and Vegetables
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1- 10 ounce bag frozen vegetable combination (broccoli and cauliflower)
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon crushed basil leaves
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Coat skillet with cooking spray. Heat skilled over medium high heat. Add chicken and cook for 10 minutes. Remove chicken. In same skillet, add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and add chicken back in. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes until chicken is completely done.
Note: If you like mushrooms, add cut up fresh mushroom to the vegetable mixture.
If you don't care for mushroom, substitute cream of chicken soup for the cream of mushroom soup. You can also substitute cream of celery soup. |
