Hi Marla,
This is Susan in Arkansas but formerly your "neighbor" in Virginia Beach!
Glad to meet you! |

| Sun Jul 09, 2006 10:32 pm Hi Susan |
|
|
| Hi Susan. VA is actually 5 hrs away from me. I visited VA Beach back in 91 when I got married to my 2nd husband (we've since divorced). We married in the Princess Ann area. We were only there 1 day but enjoyed the beach. I bet AK is really different for you. I look forward to chatting with you more. |

Ah, I feel really dumb. I saw Chesapeake and didn't look at the Ohio, but assumed Virginia. Wishful thinking, I guess. We've been here in Arkansas for 15 years this month, but a big piece of my heart was left behind in Virginia Beach. We were married there in 1991, too, and our boys were born there. It was hard to move away. We do love it here, but with our Marine son stationed in Norfolk (and having gone through some training in Chesapeake, VA) it's triggered some great memories.
I did live 10 years in Ohio, though, Columbus from age 12 to 22, so we were still sort of neighbors, but that's been a long time ago now, although my parents are still there. Yes, I've lived in several different parts of the country, which may be why I enjoy meeting people from all over here in cyberspace! |
