| Wed Jun 20, 2007 2:40 am Have You Done Something to Lift Your Spirits? |
|
|
Have you done anything to lift your spirits lately? It's surprising what encouragement and motivation you will receive from accomplishing something that has been needing to be done for awhile.
If you've been putting something off, it can actually hinder you subconsciously and emotionally from accomplishing more in life. You want to achieve greater success, but the little dust bunnies are lying around or hiding under the table. Small accomplishments will lift your spirits and prepare you to take on greater tasks.
Yes, I've put things off many times too. I'm feeling on top of the world tonight...feeling like I can accomplish even more. My spirits are soaring. I'm completely caught up with my paper work that I needed to do. I sort of dread paper work. Once I've started, I actually like it a bit, but it's the "getting started" that I have a hard time facing. But, after hours of work today, I've achieved more than just a clean desk. I've made my inner being feel wonderful, proud and actually "relaxed and calm".
Are you behind on something; have you been putting something off that needs to be done? Make a goal to get it done asap and you will be able to achieve even more success.
Have you done something lately to lift your spirits? If so, please share it with us... |

Rhonda, I am also working my way through the clutter and getting rid of a lot of paperwork that we no longer need and filing a lot of other stuff. For some reason I hate to file.

Jo,
Yes, filing can be a drag...but the results are a clutter free desk and you save lots of time finding what you're looking for.
Whenever I'm doing tedious tasks I usually try to put on some fun music and make myself a favorite drink. :P |

Quote: have gone through my files for HGP just recently & have updated my Customer base list!! Something I keep putting off- to busy doing other things I guess. But I'm caught up now & feel better for it. Now If I can accomplish that through the rest of the year I'll be doing great!! Blessings to all of you-

We have decided to stay home today and get all kinds of paperwork and phone calls done today. It will be nice at the end of the day to have them checked off of our list.

Jo, That's Great!
Sometimes we also have to cancel all of our plans and just get some much needed stuff done. Sometimes we get "too" busy doing other stuff that isn't quite as important...but it keeps us from getting needed stuff done. |

Well, made a good start yesterday but it was one of those confusing days. Hubby really felt bad yesterday so couldn't help as much as he wanted to. I did get quite a bit done in the bedroom and will continue today and for however long it takes until we have this mess all cleared up. We have a few appointments this morning and than will come home and work here. I will be so happy once I get it caught up.

| I'll be thinking of you today while you're tackling that task. I'm trying to get some organizing done in our house as well. It's amazing the time you save when you're well organized. |

Caitlinn & I went to a Las Vegas 51's baseball game. We don't even like to watch baseball. It had nothing to do with work & that is just what I needed! We cheered for the Colorado Sky Socs because they had better looking guys!! LOL!
We also turn on some great music - P!nk can always perk me up.

Well Sheryl,
Sometimes we do just need to get away from everything...everything that has to do with the daily routine. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself.
And thanks for the tip here for the single ladies. You've heard that, ladies...Colorado has better looking guys...for those who are seeking a mate! |

Okaythis spirt lifting has been a bit ago but had to share it with all of you as it is a testimonial of just how much it HELPS when you change your mind set.
Several months back I finally decided to make the commitment to go to our Company Fling we have every Aug.THIS WAS the best GIFT I could of given to my business.
From that point on I was determined to set a goal for the money and to build my team. Once I made that decision and started thinking positive about my business, where the money was going to come, and building my team THINGS ARE GOING CRAZY, Good Crazy... I recieve all the money and lots more with home parties and Fundraisers, my team partners have grown 15 in the last several month and my SPIRITS are up more than ever.
THE BEST PART is once I made this decision I was asked to Speak at fling and be on a panel of other distributors for parties & fundraisers. HOw amazing is that.... I am soaring and LOVE what I am doing even more and it is all changing as I change my attitude to success and belief in myself and team partners!
Thanks for letting me share with you why my SPIRIT IS SOARING!
Blessings,
Cheryl |

Cheryl,
That is great!
I have found that many times you have to get out of your comfort zone to find the answer you are looking for. Public speaking is way out there for me! But, I work our confrence room & talk to strangers all day. It was something I did not want to do but, it was a place I was needed & yes, I set my mind to it & now I love it.
I think having a plan or goal that you firmly tell yourself that you are going to do, is key.
Like the little train story that we learned as kids - I think I can, I think I can...
Now you did!!!!!
Stay positive!!
Have a great day,

Cheryl,
Yes, that's a great report that you've shared with us. And starting off on a "positive" train of thought can really be a major key to getting positive things rolling :!:
And Sheryl,
I usually have to put extra effort in stepping out of my comfort zone. It helps me to put confidence in God. If He gives me opportunities, He'll give me the ability to perform and succeed with those opportunities.
*The little train story is one of my favorites. :D |
