I've been here in Newnan since September 2005. Last year when it came time to renew my lease, I did so with little regret.
This year, however, I feel as though the devil has camped about me on all sides with his minions who are constantly seeking to disturb the peace of this neighborhood. Suffice it to say, that my heart's desire is to move from here.
I'm waiting to hear from the Lord the direction I should go and I ask you ladies to keep me in your prayers for His direction as to where to from here.
I'm also asking that you pray for my neighbors. Pray for my nearest neighbor who doesn't like minorities and has proclaimed it rather loudly to the whole building. The landlord has chosen to deal only with the loudness of his remarks but not the racist comment made.
Pray for the neighbors who run down the stairs at 3am. The stairs are right on the other side of my bedroom wall and I've been awakened many nights by this noise.
Pray for the neighbors who stomped down the stairs at 5:30am, 7 days a week. They are up and off to work so they seen to want everyone else awake as well.
Pray for the neighbor with the extremely agressive dog who has already attempted to bite my child and despite several complaints from me, is still here two months later with no improvement in his behavior or that of his owners.
Pray for me to be able to find people to help me move as cost efficiently as possible. Pray for a way out for us so that we can enjoy the peace of the Lord inside and peace on the outside as well.

Gazelle,
I'll be praying for your living situation. I've already jotted it down on my favorite little sticky notes by my computer. :wink:
I lived for quite awhile in the apartments across from our church in Oklahoma. We've seen and heard it all too. And it's so surprising what goes on in middle of the night...doesn't anyone sleep? :shock:
I'm so sorry to hear about the racist comment. God surely frowns upon such a thing as we are "all" created by our Heavenly Father above!

Thank you Carla and I'm praying for my neighbors too. No one should live under those conditions, let alone subject strangers to be bothered by them.
To make matters worse, there is now someone's blood in our breezeway as well as having the police here last Thursday night because the neighbor across the hall was fighting with the Rent-A-Center people who were trying to repossess the furninshings he hasn't paid for in several weeks.
I'm still waiting on the Lord because I know in His time everything will be just fine. Take care and God bless. |

| Praise the Lord! We got into a three bedroom townhouse so the girls finally get their own rooms. They're so excited! This is something they have been longing for so years. I'm just looking forward to being gone from here. Thank you for praying for us and I'm so glad to be able to say thank the Lord we are on our way. Take care and God bless. |
