| Tue Aug 14, 2007 2:10 am Hello - I have returned! |
|
|
I have been gone awhile due to that thing called life - and it being so hard! But I am back and just wanted to say hello again.
I am a SAHGM of my 2 grand daughters that are the lite of my life. I have several blogs that I created and work with (see my signature line and I hope you stop by for a visit!) and at the moment I am moving from a 4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apt and with a physical problem, that is not easy to so! But since this is my 25 move in 30 years I've been married, I can for the most part, do it with my eyes closed so my physical problems don't hinder me to much, I admit!
So, I look forward to being part of the group and learning and enjoying what everyone has to share! |

Thanks everyone! Boy what a week! Been so hard to get this packing done with my head problems nad the triple digit heat wave. of course, just my luck the week I need to do most of the packing is the hotest!! My daughter came yesterday and did alot and that helped so much. Now it is just for the final junk stuff at the end of every pack up. The most annoying part of any move! I've been giving away so much to the church for their rummage salea nd just trashing alot. Not that I had so much stuff, this is my 25th move in 30 years, and only the 2nd move without kids in tow! I have found out that you really don't need all the stuff out there the calls your name and the Dollar Store and Pick n Save are not always your best friends and if I started with if I haven't used it in 1 year I got rid of it. Now I am down to not in the last 6 months! looks like I have more than I do since there are so many boxes, but have to remember, some are filled with food stocked up on and some are GD's toys and just small boxes make it look like a lot!
Once moved I hope to get back into the swing of things! |

Cheri,
We currently have a whole basement full of boxes from our recent move. About 90% of it we are planning to get rid of...afterall, we've had to do without it for almost a year so it only makes since that we really don't need it. We're much more careful now about what we purchase and bring home. |

| Drag it out and have a yard sale! If you haven't used it in a year - you don't need it! And just think of the money you'll get! Save it or pay off a credit card! I usually have yard sales, but this time, with so much gong on in my life, I just didn't have it in me. That is really sad as me and yard sales are life long best friends! But at least the church has enough for a good sale! |
