My pet peeves are people willing to take my time and sometimes money to get help from me and then not making use of the help I give.
I also have a pet peeve of shelling out money to others for their services and them never wanting to know or taking a look at what I have to offer and using mine. :(
That's why I don't have a pet peeve about this forum because everyone is willing to help everyone else if at all possible. :D |

You are so funny....
I think my biggest pet peeve is using poor English. I'm not talking about minor boo-boos, I'm talking about using blatantly poor English, such as saying
I seen (instead of I saw)
or
Where are you AT (Where implies At)
and one that most people don't recognize is the word
'Irregardless'
The proper wording is just Regardless. lol...I've even heard a few really big name speakers use this boo-boo of a word.
Other than that.... |

My pet peeve is slow drivers. I just can't stand getting behind a slow driver, it drives(no pun intended) me nutsola!!!
Another one is when drivers don't use their blinkers when they are going to turn, that is so rude. Oh I can't stand drivers that drive right on your tail.
Those are my pet peeves. Thanks for this forum to let us vent about our pet peeves! :D
Have a wonderful peeveless day everyone!

OOO Where to start/?
I have a few
When some one pulls in front of you on the road and them slams on their breaks to slow down. That irritates me!
And the people who do not use turn signals there is a reason why the manufactures put it on the car!!!! Or did that model car not come with any??
Just a few things that drive me nuts!!

Filling the ice tray after use! I know it's petty but it is frustrating when you crave an ice cold drink and find an empty ice tray. Really, it's not that difficult to refill it.
Another one is drivers not using their turn signal. Honestly, communication plays a crucial role on the road too! It is not difficult to use the turn signal and I believe all cars are manufactured with some  |

| An apostrophe before an 's' when it doesn't belong! Grrr. Reserve those apostrophes (NOT apostrophe's) for possessives (NOT possessive's) and contractions (NOT contraction's)! Plural words (NOT word's) can do without! That has to be the most irritating of my pet peeves (NOT pet peeve's, please!). |

 Susan that is hilarious!
My husband will drink JUST about the last of EVERYthing, and then put it back in the fridge, so he doesn't have to throw away the container or make more of whatever it is he was drinking (ie, juice, tea..) |

I want the toothpaste tube folded down as it gets used!
Talking about Husbands mine will use up the milk, eggs, butter whatever and not write it on the list that is on the door of the ice box! When I ask if we need anything else from the store he says "no nothing I can think of" drives me nuts!! |

Is that a universal trait of husbands?? Must be! Mine will often write the item on the grocery list, but only when we're completely and totally out. If there's one slice of bread and I ask if we need bread, he'll say no, we have some. It might be gone by the time I get back from the store! Think ahead, honey!!
Jhanna, I have to admit that I'm often the one who puts the almost empty tea pitcher back into the fridge. I'm usually on the run and go back later to make more, but by then it's empty and setting out on the counter. Funny how I'm the only one who knows how to refill it!
My husband is a true gem, though - I'm not complaining, only making my observations! He puts up with me and I put up with him. |

LOL! Aloha all!
This is absolutely hilarious! This could be a very DEEP subject.
There's a quote that says, "If you look for the negative in someone, you're sure to find it every time." I also like the one that says, "Winners don't carry excess baggage!"
We all have things that bother us. There is so much that bothers me. But if we focus on the smalls things if life, they can become MAJOR distractions. Time is too short for this. Look at the crisis in the Middle East.
The CEO of Send Out Cards teaches to keep focused on the large things in life. Check this out! Kody carrieds index cards in his pocket at ALL TIMES. When the small things in life start to happen (and they happen to ALL OF US), Kody pulls out his index cards. They are "I AM" and "WE ARE" statements.
Example - I AM a child of God! How many times will Satan try to make you feel unworthy? Always speak positive to your life. Think about what the Bible says about words and the power of the tongue.
God Bless All,
Joey |

Well, I agree that we should not "focus" on all the things that bother us....when we do, it can indeed become a major problem. However, we are all human...and we all have "pet peeves". The funny thing about "pet peeves" is that we know it's our little "quirk" in life....and what bothers us is usually no big deal to anybody else. And sometimes it's just a stress reliever to get it out in the open and say, "You know what, that really drives me nuts!!"
My pet peeve in my household would probably be people getting things out and not putting them away. It's certainly doesn't ruin my day, but it sure is a pain when things begin to pile up. |
