Buttermilk Cookies
1 ½ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 ¾ cup buttermilk
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet.
Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl. Add in the butter and mix until a crumb mixture exists. Gradually add in the buttermilk and mix with a fork until a dough forms.
Roll out the dough ½ inch thick. Use a round cookie cutter. Place on cookie sheet and bake 12-15 minutes. |
