Just wondering how everyone is doing?

My week has been a little crazy and very busy.
My husbands truck also broke down (probably permanently) this week and he's borrowing my vehicle because he has to go to another town to work...so I'm having to get rides to school to teach. :? Hopefully, we'll find a suitable car this weekend before the new week begins. Thankfully, we have some cash saved up. There's nothing I hate more than having to borrow money from a bank. :x

God is good! :D

I'm sorry about your husband's truck too. I hope you're blessed with a great deal on a great car this weekend. :)

I've been pretty busy as well. My new coaching program for women in business online is going great. Today my free course on Podclass.com is beginning. I have to go get that posted now. ;)

Lots to do and lots of women to empower!!

I knew you ladies were indeed occupied...I just wanted to hear from you and know that I'm not alone in the busy rush this week.

We did a little car hunting today. There's one we might be interested in, but we'll have to check back on Saturday. When you live in a small town, your options are limited at times. :?

I've got something 'new' that I'll be announcing on Monday so it's kept me busy on top of Affordable Mineral Makeup and DD's school, etc.etc....

Good luck with the car hunting!

I am completely exhausted.

My mum and I are taking care of my failing uncle and trying to take care of his 82 yr old wife too...its draining!

Shelly,

It is really draining when you're taking care of the elderly on a continuing basis. My mom took care of her mom in her home for quite a long while and it was alot of stress.

You reap what you sow, as the Bible says, and I know you will be blessed for all your hard work and labor.

:D Well, good news! We found a car...a Toyota Camry (I hope I spelled that right.). We've heard a lot of positive feedback on what good gas mileage they get. And that's what we were looking for since my husband travels alot...and we hear that gas prices may continue to rise.

God did indeed bless us...the man who sold it to us came down a $1,000 more and we had just enough to pay it off in cash.

Rhonda, that is totally awesome news. Toyotas are good vehicles.

We have been very busy here too. Trying to get ready to move, daughter-in-law is in hospital, trying to get son who is staying here situated as well as hubby not feeling well. We found that his diabetes numbers are rising and if we can't get it under better control with the medication he will be going on insulin.

I agree Toyotas are great cars. We currently have a Corolla and we just bought a new Matrix.

Thanks, ladies, we are pretty proud of our new car. So far it's been running really great...and we can fit our whole family in it. We couldn't use my husband's truck for a spare vehicle when we got our van worked on because it wouldn't fit 5 people in it. So, it's almost a blessing that the truck went bad. It forced us to get serious enough to look for a better vehicle and one that would save money on gas, too.
