Well, I have this recipe, but do not know how "southern" it might be. It is fairly simple though.
Salsa
3 med. Roma tomatoes, quartered.
1/2 medium onion
4 sprigs cilantro
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. fresh lemon/lime
1-2 jalapenos
Combine all indredients in a chopper or blender and mix to desired consistency. Serve with tortilla chips or as a salad dressing. |
