Lord, grant me the strength that I may not fall
into the clutches of cholesterol.
At polyunsaturates I'll never mutter,
for the road to hell is paved with butter.
Cake is cursed and cream is awful
Satan is hiding in every waffle.
Beelzebub is, himself, a chocolate drop
and Lucifer is a lollipop.
Teach me the evils of hollandaise,
of pasta and gobs of mayonnaise,
and crisp fried chicken from the South
Lord, if you love me, please, zip my mouth!
I just had to share this one. Take care and God bless. |

| Thanks Rhonda and I'm glad you liked it. Breezy, I had never seen this before either and I knew once I read it, I had to share it. My favorite line is the road to hell is paved with butter. I've never heard that one before but it struck me as being so funny. I could see a road of butter leading to a fiery end in my mind. That's when I knew it was a keeper. Take care and God bless. |
