I am in the process of finalizing my new coaching program, 90 Days To An Irresistible Online Presence and wondered if you might be able to help with something.

I have a lot of different aspects of web design, site traffic, list building, creating and selling information products, networking, ecommerce, target market, communication, legal considerations, etc. that I'll be covering in the coaching program.

Participants will have a fully functioning easy to update professional web site and a plan of action when they complete this coaching program. I cover so many different angles.

My question for you is, if you were in the position to be in need of a web site or create a nice professional web site that you could easily update and you were to enroll in a coaching program such as this, what questions would you want answered during the program? What would you be looking for in regards to the end result?

If it helps to see a more of what I'm talking about, go here: http://christinawiley.com/store/#90days (temporary page/info setup)

The coaching program will be geared toward small and home based business owners who have less than 20 products/services to sell. By the way, they aren't limited to that in the long run, but this coaching program is not for business owners who have 50+ products up front to sell. That's another coaching program. Wink

Thanks in advance ladies. I very much appreciate your thoughts and input on this.

Well, I'm trying to think back to the days when everything was so new to me online.

These might not have all to do with web design, but when I first wanted an online presence, my questions were...

"Where can I get low cost (yet, RELIABLE hosting)?"

"How can I create my own logo or get an affordable one made?"

"How do I host, upload, resize, change background, etc. for my graphics?"

"How can I set up my own shopping cart or create an online payment system on my site?

"How can I use templates to update the appearance of my site?" *Still not sure how to use templates...I've always used frontpage to create my own. (LOL)

"How can I start my own newsletter and include a signup form in my site?"

"How can I center my text?" "How do I add graphics to my site?" "How do I position my text around my photo?" (Learning basic HTML codes is such a help on little issues for your site)

"How can I install programs / software on my site?" Example: perhaps you would like to incorporate a directory for your site.

"What colors are best to use, what text size should I use?" I've also learned that some fonts may not appear the same in all browsers. And, some people still do not realize that some colors are not good for text at all, especially for those with color blindness.

I wasn't aware that you needed to test the appearance of your site in other browsers such as firefox to see how others are viewing your site. Boy, was I once shocked how horrible my site appeared on Mozilla firefox. I was so embarrassed. Embarassed

Great questions - and points, Rhonda. I agree that when you've been doing this for a long time it's hard to think all the way back to how it was when you were a newbie.

Thanks so much for replying. Smile
